Oil-free Scroll Air Compressors For Pure Air

At Champion Air Tech, we offer a range of high-quality, 100% oil-free scroll compressors that guarantee contaminant and risk-free performance. These systems are ideal for industries where compressed air purity is of the utmost importance, such as the medical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and research sectors. We can guarantee that our scroll compressors will deliver ISO 8573-1 Class 0 oil-free and silicon-free compressed air because they don't use oil in any area of their design or operation. This is the highest air quality level possible!

Our S-Series oil-free scroll compressors also offer improved energy efficiency and quiet operation, allowing you to maximise your productivity and minimise disruption in your facility. An easy-to-understand user interface is also present to ensure our solutions are both efficient and easy to use. All of these innovative features guarantee peace of mind, ensuring your compressor and your operations can run seamlessly.

Champion's S-Series scroll units are available in a variety of sizes, ranging from 4 to 15 kW, making them flexible to your exact industry and application needs. Not only this, but our cutting-edge oil-less scroll technologies promise continuous operation with a 100% duty cycle, working with you to meet fluctuating compressed air demands. Their sophisticated modular design also makes them versatile in a variety of sectors, including medical/healthcare, transportation, automotive, food and beverage, electronics and commercial printing. They really are the perfect solution to suit your compressed air needs!

What Are Scroll Compressors & How Do They Work?

Scroll compressors are a type of positive displacement air compressor, meaning they work by drawing air into a compression chamber before reducing the size of the chamber in order to achieve the optimum air pressure. Using this working principle, scroll air compressors use two interleaving scrolls, which are spiral-shaped, to compress air or gas. The two scrolls are bolted together, one of which is stationary and one of which is attached to a motor, allowing it to orbit the other scroll. This continuous movement is what compresses the air or gas.

Advantages of Scroll Compressors:

  • Highly Efficient - their design prevents waste build-up, reducing the risk of unexpected downtime and the need to continuously replace parts.
  • Energy Saving - scroll compressors are known to consume less energy due to, again, having fewer moving parts, but also due to their high working efficiency, especially when compared to systems that use pistons.
  • Low Noise - in comparison to other compressor models, such as reciprocating, scroll compressors have fewer moving parts, making them a quieter alternative.
  • Versatile - scroll compressors are available as both oil-free and oil-lubricated systems, making them versatile to a large range of industries and applications.
  • Durable - as mentioned, scroll compressors use fewer moving parts, which makes them less susceptible to breakdown, reducing the risk of costly downtime or part replacement.
